"Kakela" arrived to Ko Olina Marina on April 9, 2000 after an exciting two-month adventure from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The crew and owners, John & Debbie Baldwin, traveled via the Panama Canal and ended up in Newport Beach, California before making the Pacific crossing to Hawaii.

A sleek, 96-foot motor yacht, "Kakela" was built with long-range passages in mind. She is stabilized, carries 7100 gallons of fuel and cruises at a speed of 15 knots. Powered by Two 1080-horsepower diesel motors, she also features a bow thruster.

"Kakela" is luxuriously appointed with three staterooms that sleep six, as well as additional quarters for four crewmembers. The master stateroom features a king berth, television and VCR, a walk-in closet and his and her baths which include a shower, bidet and jacuzzi. The two twin guest staterooms feature telephone, television, VCR, and in-suite heads and showers. This spacious main salon offers an exquisite ambiance for elegant entertaining. Our talented crew can attend to all your needs, including preparing and serving your favorite meals.

Not only is "Kakela" luxuriously appointed, she is an ideal venue to enjoy and explore the Hawaiian waters. Passengers can enjoy the fishing cockpit, fighting chair and fishing gear. Or take advantage of the large swim and dive platform, kayak, snorkel equipment & dive compressor, or the 16-foot tender.

Cruise to Lanai for a round of golf, or wake up in Kona for deep-sea fishing. Return to dinner on Maui and plan to visit a secluded beach on Kauai. The friendly crew is knowledgeable about fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling and marine life. They will attend to your every wish.
